Background and Experience

Experienced Program and Clinical Leader

About…

I bring years of clinical and program leadership experience within a large technology driven healthcare organization. I am attentive to nuance with a focus on professional ethics, risk management, and interpersonal dynamics. Interpersonally, I am compassionate and incorporate humor when appropriate. Serving as a consultant in many ways “chose” me. Throughout my time as a psychologist, I have always been the resource colleagues go to for support in navigating clinical challenges. I am proud to have earned their trust and enjoy extending this support to others seeking consultative support.

Program Development

I have led the development of mental and cognitive health programs for both primary care and speciality mental health. With deep experience in leading quality initiatives to meet HEDIS benchmarks, I evaluate processes and clinical decisions from both a patient centered and organizational lens. I am skilled in navigating the nuanced interface between providing clinically excellent care with business sustainability in mind.

Clinical Leadership

I lead and practice from a place of high standards and rigor. In leading teams of clinicians, I always start by optimizing for provider and patient experience. As a leader, one my guiding principals is that I would never ask another provider to do something that I would not be willing or able to do. Regarding patient experience, I’m always striving to ensure that any program I lead is one that I would recommend to a friend or family member. Since my standards are high, this is a particularly high bar to pursue.

Clinical Experience

As a practicing licensed psychologist, I have experience working within the following clinical settings: primary care, corporate healthcare, private practice, and university health.

Areas of Clinical Focus:

  • Anxiety Disorders including GAD, Perfectionism, and Anxious High Achievement.

  • Speciality assessment including short-term disability and accommodations.

  • Ethics, documentation, and risk management.
